"Strength and Honor are Her Clothing and She Rejoices in Times to Come.” (Proverbs 31:25)

Each woman is likely to have her own definition of emotional well-being. For me, it’s peace of mind because the first 40 years of my life was a tumultuous sea of fear and anxiety. By the age of 30 I had suffered a nervous breakdown, numerous gall bladder attacks, digestive trouble and chronic back pain. When our emotions are suffering, our body suffers, too. It took serious spiritual work to become free at last!

Wisdom has taught me that emotional wellness is an inside job. Applying external remedies, no matter how good they purport to be, cannot overcome a tormented soul. The protocol for healing includes spiritual fruit: love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, humility, and healthy self–esteem. When a woman produces spiritual fruit, she experiences wholeness-- body, soul and spirit.
